David Carothers

Founder + President

David and Joan met while making disciples of Jesus in inner-city Philadelphia. After getting married, David served as a singles pastor at a church in Las Vegas and helped plant a church in Fort Worth, Texas. He then spent 14 years as a pastor in Northern California before moving to the Central Valley of California for another 8 years. While conducting evangelistic crusades in Southeast Asia, Africa, and South America, David noticed a need to disciple the new followers of Jesus, which led to the formation of Daily Transformation. This organization offers proven tools for discipleship that have been translated into 20 languages in our country and abroad. David holds a BS in Business from Pepperdine University, an MDiv in Biblical Languages from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a ThM and DMin from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Joan Carothers

Secretary

Joan has a lifelong passion for guiding people to know and follow Christ. She worked with David to assist young adults in Philadelphia, and currently, she disciples women every week in the US and Africa. Joan has led Women’s and Children’s Ministries in the churches where they served to help people have an intimate and obedient walk with Jesus. She works in the DT office, managing communication and journal logistics. Together, Joan and David raised four children who love and follow Jesus as young adults. Joan remains committed to modeling and discipling not only their children but also their new grandchild.

Bobby Burns

Treasurer (International Leadership)

Bobby is a business entrepreneur and sales executive who has been leading Bible studies in the churches he has been a part of, at his home, and in his workplace. He has been discipling people in his community for a while and has been able to see God's power in action. Recently, Bobby has started going on mission trips abroad with David and has been amazed at how God is moving among the people who are hungering for Christ. Bobby has become like a father and elder to the locals in those foreign countries and has been building up men and women both in Las Vegas and abroad on a regular basis.

Ethan Fleischer

Member + Lead Professor

Daily Transformation drew inspiration from Revelation 2:1-7, which commends the church of Ephesus for upholding good doctrine by removing false teachers. However, they were criticized for neglecting their love for Jesus and needed to rekindle it in order to bear fruit in evangelism and discipleship. To address this issue, Professor Ethan helped David establish First Love Bible College in Pakistan, Uganda, and the USA. As the Lead Professor, he has developed and taught theological curriculum to ensure that churches overseas are equipped with good doctrine. Every week, Professor Ethan delivers live teachings via Zoom, often with the aid of a translator, in seven different locations. Ethan holds a BA in Religious Studies from the University of Oklahoma, an MA in Christian Education, an MDiv in Biblical Languages, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Apologetics from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Michael Rochelle

Member

Pastor Michael Rochelle relocated to Las Vegas and successfully led a struggling church to become the largest in the state. As he approached retirement, he joined the DT board with the objective of helping church-goers to truly "know God," rather than just having knowledge about Him. Since retiring, Pastor Michael has been encouraging pastors to spend quality time with Jesus in order to be empowered and envisioned by Him. Michael leads Bible studies each week and encourages attendees to use the tools of the DT journal.

David Kruljac

Member (Prayer)

David is a Vice President at a large construction company where he strives to foster a positive and productive work environment. He attributes his effectiveness to his growth as a disciple of Jesus Christ, which is reflected in his daily use of a journal and weekly participation in a DT Fellowship Bible Study. Even though his children are grown adults, David still actively encourages them to know and follow Jesus. In addition to his operations experience, David also lends his support to DT's annual fundraiser, utilizing his Christ-centered perspective to ensure that the organization remains faithful to the principles of Christ's kingdom instead of conforming to worldly norms. David is also championing our Prayer Team.

Chris is the twin brother of David. He has been reading his Bible and journaling ever since David introduced him to the SOAP method during a mission trip on Easter break in 2002. God has transformed Chris into a man of God who confidently leads in his Insurance Brokerage, as well as in State and Federal government. Chris's love transforms him into a well-known advocate for consumers and brokers. He brings his passion for being an active disciple of Jesus in his industry to the DT's Board. He champions our cause by hosting a Fellowship Bible Study in his office and regularly sharing Jesus and the Journal with his business associates.

John Stewart

Member (Strategic Planning)

John graduated from Fuller Seminary with his MDiv to become a pastor. However, God soon revealed to him that he was gifted not only in training people to live a life in accordance with the teachings of Jesus, but also in removing hindrances that stood in their way. This realization led him to return to school to become a licensed Marriage and Family Counselor. John has served on several Christian non-profit boards, the longest being a residential ranch for troubled youth. John saw how Daily Transformation was training people in the habits of knowing and obeying Jesus. Impressed by their approach, he became an advisor to David Carothers on how to reach the youth and adults in the American culture. This eventually led to John joining the DT Board in 2023. His passion lies in strategic planning and giving input on the Smart Phone APP's training components to help consider training through internship programs.
